New anti-virus and sterilization equipment installed in the concourse in Yokohama Stadium

Ushio, Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, President Koji Naito, hereafter Ushio) and Yokohama DeNA BayStars Co., Ltd. (President Yota Kimura, hereafter Yokohama DeNA BayStars), which operates the professional baseball team Yokohama DeNA BayStars, will be in 2021. Following the season, they have signed a “Stadium Healthcare Partner Agreement” for the 2022 season as well.

With the corporate slogan “The future will be interesting with light,” Ushio, which provides solutions using light to various markets, is currently using anti-virus and sterilization technology in the life science field with the keyword “safety and security.” Ushio are focusing on the optical environmental hygiene business such as “Care222®”.

40 new Ushio anti-virus and sterilization UV irradiation devices “Care222® i series” will be installed in the concourse in Yokohama Stadium this season, as well as in the private bleachers “NISSAN STAR SUITES” and the athlete training room.
